Tucked away in the northeastern corner of Botswana, on the banks of the famous Chobe River, the scenic little town of Kasane rests on the doorstep of the spectacular Chobe National Park. There are no boundary fences separating the village from the park and game such as elephant and hippo are often spotted roaming around the town. If on the lookout for elusive game, pay a visit to the Sedudu Valley Road, where large dead trees provide temporary homes for leopards. Within Kasane, an ancient baobab tree stands on display, once serving as a local prison. Visitors can look forward to a multitude of activities including: enjoying a game drive through the park, taking a sunset cruise down the Chobe River, visiting a local village or jumping on a day trip to the breathtaking Victoria Falls.
Situated in the northwestern corner of Botswana, the Okavango Delta is a World Heritage Site as it is the largest inland delta in the world. The magnificent Okavango River sprawls out over the dry sands of the Kalahari Desert forming this flourishing waterlogged oasis featuring countless meandering waterways and crystal clear lagoons studded with water lilies, as well as fertile floodplains and reeded islands inhabited with abundant wildlife. The Okavango Delta stretches over 15000 square kilometres. Visitors can enjoy a number of wonderful activities such as game viewing, fishing, bird watching or taking an authentic guided Mokoro excursion through this wetland paradise in a traditional dugout canoe. Commonly spotted animals include: lion, rhino, leopard, giraffe, hippos, elephants, crocodiles and countless species of bird.
Meet & Greet at Kasane Airport by a lodge representative and complimentary road transfer to the lodge. Welcome to Kasane, Chobe, the confluence of two mighty rivers – Chobe River and the Zambezi.
Check-in with a welcome drink a suggested afternoon activity: Chobe River Cruise during which you can see some of Chobe’s legendary elephant population.
Today you will explore Chobe National Park, this time from a game drive perspective during your morning and afternoon game drives which are done on a shared vehicle basis. Private vehicle on request as an optional add-on.

Morning at leisure – time to pack and enjoy a hearty brunch before road transfer to Kasane airport for your scenic light aircraft transfer from Kasane to Mma Dinare (approx. 1hr30min). Meet & greet by your safari guide at airstrip and app. 45min.game drive to the camps & security briefing with a welcome drink by the camp manager.
Time to unpack and settle into your family tent. Before /during /after afternoon tea your guide will cover your safari itinerary and activities and present the children with their young explorer kit. Naturally, there is an opportunity to change activities on a daily basis depending on your preference.
A morning and afternoon of activities awaits you once again. This can include a game drive, a night drive, mokoro trip, a game walk, a motorboat cruise, or fishing. For something more private, why not choose the mokoro trail with champagne lunch on the island or fishing.
Early morning wake-up call, Light breakfast, Morning game drive; Brunch; time to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or some armchair game viewing from your tent deck using your activity books and check-lists. Afternoon game drive will follow after a lazy siesta in the afternoon. After dinner to avoid forgetting something, best to start with the main packing.
After breakfast, catch a flight back to Maun over the Okavango Delta. for your onward flight home. Tour ends with us.
